The Cabin Cuddler

Cabin_cuddler

Have any of you heard about the cabin cuddler? I saw one when I went to pick up my friend from the airport last night. A Cabin Cuddler is a 6-in-1 travel blanket and pillow. This is very usable especially when you are travelling for long hours in a plane, train or even at airports or stations when you get delayed or stranded. This is the best travel companion you can possibly have even if you are travelling alone. How does this work? Well, this cute little bag can be your inflatable pillow, a blanket that can cover your entire body, a pocket that will keep your toes warm and a pillow case. You don’t need those airline blankets that has been re-used several times by passengers anymore. Also, I could use this at the office. Do you know that I bring a sweater even if it’s summer time at work. It is freezing!!! How can I complain, I work in an airconditioning company. I need one of this too.

I am so excited with this one. I really love this. Come on, get one for yourself. Check this out! On their website cabincuddler.com, it says that if you buy 2 or more you will receive free shipping. That’s a good deal and you can choose between black and cranberry colors. Hurry, get one for yourself and for the whole family.

The Grilled Salmon

We do our food shopping once every two weeks but for meat, chicken, fish and vegetables we buy them every week to keep them fresh by not storing them too long in the freezer. We love seafood and we always buy shrimps and salmon every time we go to the oriental store. We like buying our salmon there because it’s fresh and they cut the fish in front of you and you just tell them what part you want to buy.

Our favorite dish is the ever tasteful and delicious grilled salmon. We always cook it on the day we buy it. I just season it with salt, pepper and lemon and grill it. That’s it. Simple but delicious. If weather not permitting, we have an oven top grill pan or I brushed it with a little brown sugar and light soy sauce and bake it. How about you? How do you cook your salmon? Care to share your recipe. I think a salmon recipe is a very appropriate dish to be included in the 2008 Great American
Cook Off at the New Orleans Convention Center in Louisiana this coming August 2-3. This recipe can be interpreted in various ways with the best imaginations of our local chefs using our very own and locally grown seafood.

If you are from New Jersey, please remember that Department of Motor Vehicles agencies and regional service centers have no more late nights starting last Monday June 23, 2008. Our IT person at work gets a lot of complaints from our salesmen about problems with their wireless connection whenever they make sales calls. Now this problem has been solved because Avanquest Connection Manager has been installed in all their laptops. Since then feedback has been very good from our salesmen, no more connection and download problems have occurred even if they access their accounts from different networks. Analog to Digital TV

I hope everybody is aware of this new change on television. On February 17, 2009 all the stations all over U.S. will turn off their analog signals and switch to digital. What is the effect on us? If you have an analog tv and you are still using the rooftop antenna or rabbit ears to get tv signal and you don’t have cable or satellite, you will lose signal not unless you have to make changes. You don’t have to dump your old tv but you need a digital converter box that will convert the digital signals to analog format. You can buy this at local electronics store like radio shack. If you already have cable, satellite or your new tv has built in digital tuner, you don’t have to do anything. So this just an FYI to more than 20 million Americans who are still using analog tv before you totally lose your tv signals.

Get Fit Financially

I just finished doing my bills IQ test and I am very satisfied with my score. I got 94% A with the following breakdown:
Credit 100%
Debt 93%
Budget 91%
Wealth 96%
Life Plan 92%
Now, what does this mean? With regards to my credit, I am very good because I always pay off my credit card balances every month. I don’t want them to accrue interest because sometimes interest gets higher than your credit. Big balances on your credit card can hurt your credit score. If you are paying a lot of credit cards monthly, try seeking some
Debt help such as Debt consolidation to ease you with your monthly payments . I scored a little low on debt because I was not sure what are the interest rates of my credit cards. I have to be aware of this because if you have high interest you are wasting money by paying the interest alone. I also don’t have a budget written down which is very important. You have to sit down and make a record of everything you spent. If you have a good budget you know how much your spending capability and at the same time you can also do a life plan for your family. Nothing beats to be prepared all the time.

I had fun doing this test. It made me realize the importance of knowing your spending habits, your debts and payments. It helps you plan for the future and if you are not doing great with your credit, ask for
Debt relief before it's too late. Give importance to the recommendations it gives to repair your credit. If you haven’t done the Bills IQ test yet, do it right now. No pain, it’s all gain.

Tennis Player on Playboy Mag

Her name is Ashley Harkleroad from United States. She is in the cover of the August 2008 issue of Playboy Magazine. She ranked #71 in women’s tennis and the first tennis player to pose for a men’s magazine. I bet ya, she will be popular at the U.S. Open (if she joins) with a lot of male viewers on the hard court (tennis fan or not).

I have a co-worker who is in his 50’s and last year he fell from the steps of his house. He was in the hospital for a week but thank God they did not do any surgery on him. He is back at work but for the past few months he has been complaining about back pains. His doctor has given him pain killer patch but the dosage is so strong that sometimes he feels so nauseous. On his birthday Last July 1st, his daughter gifted him a Takemi Jade Vista 5000 massage bed from netwise4deals.com. From then on he canot stop talking about the relief he gets from this massage bed and he said the best gift he had ever received.
