7 Eleven Has Wings

Our local 7-11 is selling wings. How did I find out? There is a subway restaurant next to it and we were ordering when hubby said we need chips to go with our sandwiches. So instead of getting the chips from SW, i went next door to get the bigger bag of chips. As I was paying, i saw this chicken wings so delicious looking so i ordered 5 pcs of the spicy zing. We were still in the car and we could smell the aroma. I tell you, it was not the best but it was good, and cheap. Not bad at all. Nice try mom.

Labor Day Weekend Sale

This is the line outside the Coach Factory Store last Labor Day weekend. I took this picture while we were the Atlantic City Outlet Mall. We were at a restaurant next door when I took this shot. I asked hubby if we could go inside, he said, "Ikaw nalang!" lol. The line moves every 10 minutes so probably it would take you around 30 minutes of waiting before you can get in. The weather was nice making ths customers stay with no complaints at all.

At this Nike Store, there was no line but some of the merchandise are already displayed outside the store. This is the chance to take advantage of the super bargain for summer clothes. Time to stock up for those balikbayan boxes.

Red Ribbon in New Jersey

This is the second Red Ribbon store that opened in New Jersey. It is open now along Washington St in Bergenfield, NJ. The first red ribbon that opened few years ago is in Jersey City, NJ.
I took a photo of the new store in Bergenfield this morning. It is a little bit smaller that the one in Jersey City but there are few tables outside for outdoor eating. Now I can have my chicken empanada, ube cake, arroz caldo, palabok and siopao more frequent since this new store is closer to our house than the one in Jersey City.

Walmart Supercenter

There is a Walmart store right where we live but last Saturday we happened to stop by this Walmart Supercenter in Monroe, New York. Wow! It is HHHUUGGGEEEE!!! Never been to a supercenter before but I heard about it. It is similar to a warehouse store set-up, the only difference is that you do not shop in bulk quantities like we do in costco, bj’s or sam’s club. A supercenter has everything – produce, meat, fruits, vision center plus everything you see at a regular walmart and a lot more. There are more cashiers, wider aisles and this one is open 24 hours. I enjoyed shopping at this walmart unlike at the regular walmart close our house which is always crowded from the parking lot to the store.

Mas Club Store For Hispanics

Sam’s Club is Wal-Mart’s warehouse store selling merchandise in bulk quantities like Costco. To capture the big and growing Hispanic population in the South and in the U.S. as well, Walmart is planning to have a Latino version of Sam’s club which will be called Mas Club. Walmart has already branched out in Mexico for a long time. The new Mas Club store will be opened in Houston.

IKEA Bedrooms For Kids

One reason why I love going to IKEA is to have an idea how to decorate, furnish or style your house. The displays inside the store oftentimes influence you in your shopping. I have taken some pictures. Take a look at the different styles of kid’s bedroom both for boys and girls. They are all beautiful. I prefer the first picture with red drawers but I will change the bed to a single or full size bed. Kids grow fast and in a year that little bed would be too small for my daughter. How about you? Which one you prefer?

IKEA Store and Food

Other than furniture and household items, we go to Ikea to eat. Their Swedish meatballs paired with mashed potatoes with gravy and lingon berries on the side. Besides meatballs, Ikea serves, breakfast, ribs, chicken and fries, wraps, desserts, soft ice cream, hotdogs and drinks. Don’t forget, there is more at the Swedish market shop. The prices are very reasonable, one meal will only coat you around $5 to $6. So next time when you go to Ikea, do not worry if you have not eaten yet, you will not get hungry at Ikea. I love IKEA, one of our favorite stores.

My friend at work who is a first mom is so shopaholic of Childrens Clothing since she had her baby. You always see her shopping online during lunch breaks and checking what is on sale. She is the one who introduced me to a children’s boutique called Atterdag Kids, which is located in Solvang, California. They have full line of trendy clothing and accessories for babies to toddlers to young boys and girls. I like their styles because they are not common and very fashionable. You can visit their store online at atterdagkids.com. Here are my picks ; a skirt for my daughter and a birthday gift for her friend.

Victoria Secrets Gets Sued

A customer named R. Ritter is suing Victoria Secret because the bra she bought made her sick. There were 2 bras she bought from VS – the very sexy extreme push up and angels secret embrace bras. After wearing them, she said that she has rashes and welts, very inflamed, itchy and very red. Because of too much itchiness, she cannot sleep or she wakes up because of the itch. A lab test was performed revealing that VS bras contain formaldehyde that can cause allergic reactions to some people. Now a lot of women want to do a class action suit against Victoria Secret.
