Ripe Jackfruit

I found this at the korean store where we buy our fish and some filipino groceries. First time to see a ripe jackfruit on display. Sometimes they also have durian fruit from bangkok but frozen.

A slice of this jackfruit is around $5 to $6 each.

Dole Bananas

I always these dole bananas but never did I get bananas from dole philippines. Every time I see the trade mark I always check where they came from. This one is a product of Costa Rica. In fairness, dole philippines bananas are more beautiful than these.

Durian

It has been a tradition to have 12 kinds of round fruits on the table on New Year's Eve. So to complete the 12, we went to the Korean Supermarket then I saw these frozen durian fruits. Yes, we do have them here but they are frozen at $1.99/lb but Hubby decided not to buy them. He said he does not want to deal with the smell on new year's. He is not from Davao that's why.
