It was my first time to win the pick 3. I buy lottery tickets for the mega millions but i had this 378 number for a long time. I have a post it on my monitor screen of this combination. So finally I was able to buy the ticket last wednesday for midday and evening boxed for $.50 each. By afternoon when i check online the number 783 came out as the winner. I was so happy. Last Sunday I decided to have the van cleaned. We cannot do it at home because it is higher and we don't do a job on the roof. We even have the super wash which includes the inside plus a car shine with tire black. Ha ha ha. it rained the day after we had it done. The rain stopped only last night and it was a downpour yesterday. So that's it for a car wash! This summer is so unpredictable. We normally get these rain during spring time but we never really had a straight week of decent summer weather.
The technology we have today has made changes to how our kids spend their free time. Rather than spending it by doing out outdoor activities, a lot of our youths spend most of their time in front of the computers or TV’s playing games and surfing the internet.
There is a national program for the youth called SOGO Active. Their goal is to inspire our youth of today to be physically active. ParticipACTION , the national voice of physical activity and sport participation in Canada has been retained by Coca Cola to help in the design and execution of Sogo Action. This program is aimed to the youths of Canada; giving young Canadian the tools to design, change and control their own get active plan and to encourage other less active youth to participate. This is a chance for the youth to make their own decisions, connect with group members and plan their activities with the support of Sogo Active.
To reward the active participants who have joined Sogo active and have demonstrated a commitment to adopt an active lifestyle, Coca Cola will be getting 1000 active participants to be awarded torchbearer spots in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. Being able to carry the Olympic flame is an honor and I hope it serves as an inspiration to our youths to join the program.
This is a favorite at my job. We always have it handy – David’s sunflower seeds.
How do you eat sunflower seeds? Me, I crack it first then eat the seeds. My friend here, she eats just like how it is written in the package. Eat. Spit and Be Happy. I only eat this at the office; not when I am driving or at home. It is just a habit at work.
This could be a dream but given the chance to plan a perfect day with your favorite celebrity at Kissimmee, I love to have a day with Maria Sharapova. Not only me, but my whole family. I know she lives in Florida and we are her number one fan. I have seen her play at the U.S. Open but how cool it would be if you spend a day with her at Epcot, Universal Studios or on a scenic lake tour while watching the birds, turtles and alligators. At the end of the day, we can probably have dinner at the Old Town or go to Citywalk for a karaoke or drinks at one of the bars. We should not forget about shopping too. We can ask Maria to go to the outlet and shop for fashionable tennis outfits.
Whew! It is nice to be dreaming but sometimes dreams come true.
